Nanoporous MgAl<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> coating on porous Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> support by aerosol deposition method for organic polymer filtration membrane

Ultra- and nanofiltrations are utilized for the separation of polymers proteins. In this study, we have investigated application MgAl2O4 membrane produced by aerosol deposition (AD) method a polymer. A ultrafiltration on porous Al2O3 support layer was with intentionally leaving nano-sized pores instead completely dense membrane. The filtration performance removing 1 million molecular-weight polyethylene oxide (PEO) from water, rejection rate AD to PEO ?44 % at differential pressure only ?0.1 MPa, which three times higher than our previous report dip-coating ?14 %.

We have manufactured a highly conductive and stretchable composite by backfilling the 3D graphene-PEDOT:PSS skeleton with poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS). The electrical conductivity of our product can reach 24 S cm(-1) with only 1.5 wt% graphene and 1.5 wt% PEDOT:PSS loading, and its resistance increased only 35% when stretched to 80% strain.
